    Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) 

    Mission is to seek to rescue the poor and needy of the Knox area by providing recovery services in Jesus’ name.

    Established in 1960, KARM provides meals; overnight, emergency and long-term shelter; and residential recovery services to the poor and homeless, victims of domestic violence, displaced families and disenfranchised men, women and children throughout the Knox area.  Services also include community meals three times a day, seven days a week, including holidays; job training; employment and educational assistance; counseling services; and rehabilitation programs.

  • Thanksgiving Baskets

    Please let the Church Office know of anyone that you know who is in need of a Thanksgiving Basket; share names, addresses, phone numbers with the Church office by November 15th.

    In lieu of the traditional collection of Non-Perishable food items for making Thanksgiving Baskets because of our present Health situation;

    Payne Avenue will accept monetary donations and will provide gift cards to a limited number of familes.

    You can make your monetary gift at anytime but please be sure to commit between Sunday, November 15th and Sunday, November 22nd.

    Baskets will be available for pick up  November 24, 2020.  Times will be announced later.
